I wanted to be able to help others, like I had been helped. I chose family medicine for the diversity – the ability to care for patients of different ages and with different medical problems.

My mission is to provide excellent healthcare so patients can be healthy enough to fulfill their mission. Our area is so culturally diverse. I appreciate the differences in cultures and I am able to connect with patients who have different physical, mental and spiritual concerns. 

I feel that every patient encounter is an opportunity to teach and to provide preventive healthcare. I see a variety of ages, from ‘itty-bitties’ or infants to senior citizens who sometimes have a more active personal life than I do. And I always treat my patients as I would my own family.
